The Brookhurst Plaza Inn was built in 1984 and although our building’s construction predates the passage of the Americans with Disability Act of 1990, we here at the Brookhurst Plaza Inn are committed to making our hotel a place that anyone can enjoy. In that spirit, we have initiated non-structural renovation and is working with an ADA inspector and an ADA specialized lawyer to bring our property up to date with the standards of the ADA Act of 1990 including but not limited to:

Accessible Parking Lots(Available);
Wheelchair Accessible Room(under construction);
Room with Accessible Shower(under construction);
Room with ADA communication tools (In progress - budget approving)
Lift for swimming pool(scheduled to be installed soon)
And other accessible features;

Our business was hit significantly by the pandemic, our improvements hasn't been finished due to financial hardship, but we are trying our best to provide all the above services and our renovation will be continuing.
